Every treatment at Selasih begins with a consultation with our doctor. We look at your skin, ask about your health and what you'd like to change, and explain the options, the risks and the costs before anything is booked.

Dr Elaine worked in general practice in Kuching for several years before training in aesthetic medicine. She sees every patient herself, from the first consultation to follow-up.
Her approach is conservative: she will tell you when a treatment isn't suitable, when a simpler option will do, or when you should see a dermatologist instead. You are never asked to decide on the day.

Consultation
About 30 minutes with the doctor. We go through your medical history, medicines and allergies, and look at the area you're concerned about.

A plan in writing
If a treatment suits you, you get a written plan: what it involves, how many sessions, the common side effects and the full cost.

Treatment and follow-up
Treatment is booked separately, after you've had time to think. We check in afterwards and see you again if anything needs attention.
Treatments
What we offer
Suitability is assessed individually at consultation. Some treatments aren't suitable during pregnancy, with certain skin conditions or with some medicines — the doctor will check.
Pigmentation and melasma
Uneven skin tone, dark patches and sun spots. Melasma needs long-term management, and we'll explain what is realistic for your skin type.
Chemical peels
Light to medium-depth peels for texture, dullness and mild pigmentation, with a few days' care afterwards.
Laser and light treatments
For pigmentation, redness and skin texture. Settings are chosen for your skin type; most courses need several sessions spaced weeks apart.
Injectable treatments
Prescription treatments for lines and lost volume, given only by the doctor. Whether they suit you, and the risks involved, are discussed at consultation.
Skin health review
A look at your current skincare and sun protection, with plain advice on what to keep, what to stop and what is worth paying for.
Treatment fees are set out in your written plan after consultation. Consultation fee from RM__ (sample).

A quiet, private space
Two treatment rooms, a consultation room and a small waiting area. Appointments are spaced so you won't sit in a crowded waiting room.
